I think Mr Rick Ross has lost his mind, this is just wack. I guess he's running out of material.

Suge Knight Gets His Ass Whooped Again!!!
I guess no one's afraid of Suge anymore. Allegedly someone from Akon's camp beat up on Mr Knight at the NBA All Star weekend. He's comes along way from his strong arm the industry days. Maybe he needs to take up golfing or yachting and just stay away from all these young folks

Top Billing
According to Billboard magazine Lil Wayne made more money off of concerts, albums, and digital downloads than any other urban artist. He made an estimated $57,441,334 last year. I can see why he's working on a rock album. With that kind of money he can do whatever he likes. At least for a minute.

Snoop Dogg x MTV
After leaving Geffen/Interscope earlier this week Snoop announces a 360 deal with MTV Networks. All the details haven't come out yet but the deal includes a TV show and releasing his next album "Malice in Wonderland". Snoop will also get cross promotion from other MTV related media like Rockband.
I believe these types of deals to be the future of not only music but the entertainment industry. Your brand is more important than any one distribution method. Were going to start seeing more artist make money without a traditional label. It's going to be a great time for independence

Can you relate ?
>
I'm not generally a fan of Killa Cam but homeboy hit the mark with this one. More artist need to relate to their fans instead of trying to floss on them. With the recession hitting hard in urban communities maybe hip hop is ready to get real...stay tuned

Who Dat iz ?
Jay Electronica and Erykah Badu had a little girl on Sunday. Erykah was catching a lot of flak on Okayplayer because of all her previous baby daddies. I say the new baby has nothing to do with her decisions either way. So lets be happy for the occasion even if you don't agree with her lifestyle.

Spread love it's the Brooklyn way
This song from Charles Hamilton is so fly. And just like him I'm not from Brooklyn but damn what makes that borough so tight. Here's some of my favourite Mc's period, enjoy.
